Disabled man suffers head injuries in St Leonards assault

A disabled man is in hospital with life-threatening head injuries after he was kicked and punched.

The 49-year-old man on crutches was attacked in St John's Road, St Leonards, at about 19:40 BST on Sunday, Sussex Police said.

He suffered a head injury and fell to the ground outside the Royal hotel.

Two men were seen running towards Western Road. They were described as black and wearing baseball caps. One was wearing a black puffa-style jacket.
