A man who was seen with a man believed to be the victim of a kidnapping plot in Brighton is being sought by police.

CCTV footage shows them together before Tony Kurt was seen on another security camera being bundled into a Vauxhall Astra in Prince's Terrace on 12 April.

Officers were in Prince's Terrace and Queen Square in Brighton on Sunday evening trying to find anyone who might have information about what had happened a week earlier.

Det Ch Insp Karen Mizzi, of Sussex Police, said: "We need the public's help to identify where Mr Kurt might well be at this time, or whether they've got knowledge of who the person that was with him [is]."

Two other men are still being sought in connection with the incident.
