Second man charged over Brighton Old Steine crash death

A second man has been charged after a pensioner was hit and killed by a car in Brighton.

Jonos Sasvari, 78, of Little Preston Street, died in Old Steine in January.

Richard Woolgar, 35, is accused of dangerous driving, having no insurance and no licence and is due to appear before city magistrates on 13 April.

Gavin Dawes, 33, of Phoenix Rise, has already appeared in court charged with causing death by dangerous driving and two counts of dangerous driving.

He is due to appear before Lewes Crown Court on 7 April.
