'Missing' Middlesbrough girl investigation solved

Published
Police investigating reports of a girl being bundled into a car by two men in Middlesbrough said the situation was "completely innocent".
Two 11-year-old boys said they saw a girl, aged six or seven, being put into the back of a silver car in Corporation Road at lunchtime on Wednesday.
Police said CCTV showed a man putting a girl into the back of a car outside a Jobcentre.
They said the people concerned had now been traced.
