Police in Eston seek beaten man's identity

Police have appealed for help in establishing the identity of a man found badly beaten at a recreation ground on Teesside.

Officers were called to the area off Fabian Road in Eston in the early hours.

The man, who is believed to be in his thirties, suffered serious facial injuries and was taken to Middlesbrough's James Cook Hospital.

He is described as 6ft 1ins tall, of large build, and shoulder-length hair.

He was wearing a black short sleeve t-shirt and beige linen trousers.
