Charges after cars vandalised in Middlesbrough

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with causing hundreds of pounds worth of damage to cars in Middlesbrough.

Police said several cars parked in Netherfields, Priestfields and Park End had their windscreens damaged during a night of vandalism on 30 October.

Cleveland Police arrested the youth after extensive forensic examinations of the cars.

The teenager has been bailed and will appear at Teesside Youth Court on 6 December.
