Arrests after man suffers lacerations in Saltburn

Two men have been arrested after a 51-year-old was slashed in a street attack on Teesside.

The victim was attacked at the junction of Windsor Road and Bath Street, Saltburn, on Thursday evening.

Cleveland Police want to speak to a driver who stopped and helped the man who suffered lacerations to his head and hands.

Two men, aged 45 and 33, have been arrested on suspicion of carrying out the attack and are being questioned.
