Man arrested over woman's death in Billingham

A man has been arrested in connection with what police have described as the "unexplained" death of a Teesside woman.

The woman, who was in her 30s, was found at an address in Billingham on Saturday evening.

She was taken to hospital but died soon after. A Cleveland Police spokesman said a post-mortem examination would take place later.

Officers have been carrying out house-to-house inquiries in the area.
