A man has been charged after a quantity of heroin with an estimated value of £50,000 was recovered from a car stopped by police on Teesside.
The 36-year-old was in a Rover car, which was stopped by officers on the northbound carriageway of the A19 near Crathorne on Wednesday.
Cleveland Police said the man was charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug.
A spokeswoman said he was due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court later.
