Police are seeking thieves who stole an antique horse carriage on Teesside.

The valuable carriage, which dates from 1832, was taken from the back of a trailer at High Farm, Skipper's Lane, Middlesbrough on Thursday.

It has left the owner, who used it for his 11-year-old disabled daughter, "heartbroken", police said.

Anyone with any information about the theft, or who noticed any suspicious activity at about 1700 GMT, is asked to contact Cleveland Police.
