Two men attacked in pub toilets in Yarm

Two men were taken to hospital after being attacked in the toilets of a pub on Teesside.

Police said the 44-year-old and the 32-year-old were assaulted in The Keys public house on Yarm High Street on Sunday.

A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and has been released on bail.

Police believe there may have been two men responsible for the attack and have appealed for witnesses.

Both victims were taken to the University Hospital of North Tees and received treatment for head and face injuries.
