A Teesside leisure centre will re-open to the public on Friday after a £18.5m refurbishment.
To celebrate, Billingham Forum will host three days of special events, taster sessions and entertainment.
The investment into the 1960s building can be seen in the ice rink, gym, theatre, bowls court, swimming pool, and the exterior.
It is hoped the improvements will increase the lifespan of the centre by 30 years.
New cladding has been added to the outside of the building and measures have been taken to reduce the carbon footprint of the building, including an advanced heating control system.
The building work was complete at the beginning of May, but final touches have been made to the inside of the Forum by Stockton Council and Tees Active.
Councillor Bob Cook said: "The building is now fit for modern purpose and ready for use for future generations."
