Pheasants killed and stolen from Norton farm

Pheasants have been killed and stolen from a farm on the outskirts of Stockton, Cleveland Police have said.

The owners believe the 24 birds were killed by a dog before being taken from their farm in Norton.

They believe someone let a dog into the farm between Saturday night and Sunday morning to kill the pheasants.

The birds were needed to provide new birds for the next shooting season. Police believe they may have been sold on after being killed.
