Three held over teenager Middlesbrough stabbing

A 70-year-old man is one of three being held after a teenager was stabbed in an attack on a Teesside street.

Cleveland Police said the 19-year-old victim received chest and back wounds in the attack in Acton Street, Middlesbrough, on Thursday.

He was taken to James Cook University Hospital with what police described as non life-threatening injuries.

Three men aged, 70, 25 and 20 were later arrested at addresses in Easterside and Whinney Banks.
