Arrests over Stockton tainted drugs hospital alert

Three men have been arrested after five people were taken to hospital after taking contaminated drugs, police said.

Four men and a woman, all from Hardwick in Stockton, were admitted to the University Hospital of North Tees on Sunday after taking the drugs.

Three have now been released and two remain in hospital although they are not in a life-threatening condition, Cleveland Police said.

Three men were arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs.
