The riverside area of a Teesside town is being lit up as part of a £20m regeneration project.

Lights are being installed between Stockton's Princess of Wales Bridge and the Millennium Bridge.

The lights change colour and patterns and will be a part of the town's summer programme of riverside events.

Stockton Council's revamp plans are designed to attract more shoppers and businesses and involve creating event spaces and improving road layouts.
