Tests carried out on remains found at Coulby Newham

Post-mortem tests have been carried out on human remains which were found on farmland in Middlesbrough.

Police were called to land near Newham Hall Farm, in Coulby Newham, on 27 June where they made the discovery.

Officers have contacted "specific families" to inform them about the find.

Insp Cath Galloway said: "We are still awaiting the results of DNA tests which have been carried out which we are hopeful will identify the remains."
