Cleveland Police arrest three people after burglaries

Police investigating the theft of a car containing a disabled woman's wheelchair have made three arrests.

Houses in Roseworth and Thornaby, in Stockton, were broken into on Wednesday and cars, a Citroen DS3 and a Hyundai i10, were taken from the driveways.

Two men, both aged 24 and a woman aged 34 have been arrested by Cleveland Police in connection with the incidents.

They have been bailed pending further enquiries.

Both cars were recovered in Middlesbrough on Thursday evening.
