Bishop Auckland College offers vocational classes

Students wanting to gain vocational qualifications now have a new place to further their education.

Bishop Auckland College will offer courses such hairdressing, carpentry and plumbing at its skills and enterprise centre.

The Spennymoor campus reopens on Monday and recruitment will continue until the end of September.

Principal Anne Isherwood said: "Over the past five years the college has invested over £40m in facilities."
