Cleveland Police introduce Clairville dispersal order

An initiative to tackle anti-social behaviour and crime in a part of Middlesbrough has been introduced by police.

Officers said a dispersal order was now in place to cover the Linthorpe Village area of Clairville.

The order means police officers can now move on people from the area if they are suspected of causing trouble.

Cleveland Police say the order is in response to a number of complaints by residents.
