A Teesside man has been rearrested on suspicion of murdering a sex worker who went missing almost 14 years ago.

Rachel Wilson had been working in Middlesbrough and was last seen in May 2002.

The 19-year-old's remains were not found until 2012, on the outskirts of the town, but police believe she died elsewhere.

A 57-year-old man from Middlesbrough's Grove Hill area has been bailed. He was previously arrested in June 2014.

He had been on bail since then.

Cleveland Police said it had obtained new evidence.
