Police are seeking two "good Samaritans" who came to the aid of a 15-year-old girl after she was raped in a Newcastle park.
The two men accompanied the victim to the Royal Victoria Infirmary following the incident in Leazes Park on 26 June.
It is thought the pair, who are believed to have been on their way home to Kingston Park after a night out, could hold vital information.
A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape and released on bail.
A Northumbria Police spokesman said: "I must stress these two men are not suspects, but we believe they might hold vital information.
"They met the victim shortly after the incident and we would like to speak to them so we can get a full picture of what happened that night."
