Two charged over shooting of man in Stocksfield

Two men have been charged over the shooting of a man in Northumberland.

The 34-year-old victim suffered a bullet wound to his shoulder during the incident in Stocksfield on 28 May.

Mark Exley, 36, of Benwell Grange, and Lee Scott 34, of Ivy Close, both Newcastle, appeared before magistrates and were remanded in custody.

They face charges of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
