Three arrests in South Tyneside shooting inquiry

Three people have been arrested in connection with the shooting of a man in South Tyneside a week ago.
Two men, aged 24 and 27, and a woman, 19, were arrested in South Shields in connection with the shooting in Grasmere Road, Hebburn, on 11 October.
The 27-year-old victim needed treatment for neck and facial injuries. The 24-year-old man was held on suspicion of making threats to kill.
The others were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Nine people have been arrested so far.
Just after the shooting, six people were arrested on suspicion of a series of offences including suspicion of attempted murder and drug offences.
All have been released on bail. The three latest arrests were made on Sunday.
