Arrest after cars damaged in Gosforth

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing thousands of pounds of damage to cars in two streets on Tyneside.
Police said several cars had their body work scratched during a night of vandalism on 27 September.
The damage was caused to cars parked in Ilford Road and Rectory Drive in Gosforth, Newcastle.
The 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage and has now been bailed, police said.
