Pair charged after fuel stolen in Northumberland

Two men have been charged with theft after fuel was stolen from a parked HGV in Northumberland.
Police officers in the Tweedmouth area of Berwick stopped a vehicle during the early hours of Friday.
They searched the vehicle and found drums full of diesel inside. A nearby HGV was identified as having its fuel line damaged and fuel taken.
Two men were arrested and later charged. They were due to appear at Berwick Magistrates' Court on 3 March.
