Skimming devices found on Northumberland cash machines

People have been warned to be on their guard after card skimming devices were found on two bank cash machines in Northumberland in the past week.

The first was at Lloyds TSB in Cowpen Road, Blyth, and the second on a HBOS machine in Bondgate Within, Alnwick.

Both consisted of a card reader fitted around the card slot and mobile phone camera behind a plate above the screen to record the Pin code.

Suspicions were raised when the machines kept returning cards.
