Anthony Marshall cleared over brother's death

A man has been cleared of killing his brother in Northumberland.

Michael Marshall, 52, a pub karaoke singer known as Little Elvis, died in hospital after an alleged assault in Sanderson Arcade, Morpeth, in August last year.

Anthony Marshall, 50, of Broome Road, Carrville, County Durham, denied manslaughter.

The jury at Newcastle Crown Court found him not guilty on the direction of judge Mr Justice Eder.
