Woman dies in Northumberland A69 three-vehicle crash

A 52-year-old woman died in a three-vehicle crash on a main road in Northumberland.
Emergency services were called to the crash involving a Ford Focus, Audi TT and a Vauxhall van on the A69 between Hexham and Haydon Bridge.
The Ford driver was pronounced dead at the scene on Saturday afternoon. No more details have been given.
The 57-year-old male van driver suffered a broken arm. The 50-year-old man driving the other car was not hurt.
The road was closed for about four hours and diversions set up. Northumbria Police are appealing for witnesses.
