John Hall death: Third man charged with Durham murder

A third man has been charged with murdering a grandfather whose body was found by a dog walker in Durham.

The body of John Hall, 46, of Shiney Row, Sunderland, was found in West Rainton on 15 September. He had suffered multiple injuries.

Two men, aged 45 and 48, are due before Newcastle Crown Court next week, police said.

A third man, aged 42, from the Houghton area, is due to appear before Sunderland magistrates on Wednesday.
