A County Durham teacher accused of sex offences against a 13-year-old boy is to face a retrial.
Anne Lakey, now head of a group of schools, denied six charges of indecent assault in the late 1980s against the boy, who was not one of her pupils.
In June, the 54-year-old, of Stanley, went on trial at Durham Crown Court, but the jury was unable to reach a verdict, and was discharged.
A retrial will take place at the same court on 19 January.
The Durham Federation of Schools, which includes Durham Community Business College in Ushaw Moor and Fyndoune Community College in Sacriston, continues to list Ms Lakey as its chief executive on its website.
