Uriel Moskwa stabbing death: Man guilty of murder

A man has been found guilty of murdering a man who was stabbed to death in North Tyneside.

Uriel Moskwa, 43, of North King Street, North Shields, died in hospital after being found with a single stab wound in Aldwych Drive, on 27 September.

Scott Jefferson, 22, of Stanley Street, Wallsend, denied murder but was found guilty following a trial at Newcastle Crown Court on Tuesday.

Jefferson will be sentenced on Thursday.

Jamie Leigh Denley, 22, of Belford Terrace, North Shields, and Stevan Newton, 21, of Stanley Street, Wallsend, both admitted affray and possession of a blade.

Denley was cleared of an extra charge of assisting an offender.

They will also be sentenced on Thursday.
