Kelloe stabbing: Victim identified as Dale Arnold

A man stabbed to death in a street in County Durham has been named by police as Dale Arnold.

The 32-year-old, of School Avenue, Durham, was attacked in the village of Kelloe shortly after 14:00 BST on Wednesday, and later died in hospital.

Police are continuing to search for a man believed to have been involved.

He is not thought to pose a risk to the wider community but anyone with information is asked to contact Durham Police urgently.

The attack, on Front Street, sparked a major manhunt, and police said inquiries were continuing in Kelloe, Coxhoe and surrounding areas.
