'Power Ranger' robber raids County Durham bookmaker


Police are seeking a man who robbed a County Durham bookmakers wearing what was described as a Power Rangers-type mask.

The man entered William Hill's in Front Street, Sacriston, on Friday night and demanded money.

Following repeated threats, the two female staff members handed over an undisclosed quantity of cash.

The robber, described as between 5ft 2ins and 5ft 4ins tall, was wearing a blue tracksuit with a hooded top.

His mask was silver grey below the nose, and black above it.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Durham Police.
