On-the-run sex offender arrested in Salisbury

A registered sex offender who was on the run for six years has been arrested in Salisbury.

James Andrew, 66, who is from the town and was previously known as Keith Vincent, was arrested on Tuesday.

He was charged with making indecent photographs, possessing indecent images and failing to comply with Sex Offenders Register requirements.

Andrew has been remanded in custody to appear before Salisbury magistrates on 2 September.

He was put on the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre's Most Wanted website in March 2009 and the public were asked to help in locate him.
