Wiltshire dogs' home fights 'pester power'
- Published
A dogs' home in Wiltshire says it will stop re-homing the animals over the festive period.
People can select a pet from the Dogs Trust home, at Newton Tony, from 19 December to 2 January but they will not be able to take it home until after that period.
It comes as research by the charity said one in five parents would consider buying their child a dog for Christmas.
Clarissa Baldwin, from the trust, said parents should resist "pester power".
