Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was indecently assaulted in Wiltshire.

The attack happened on 18 December at about 2200 GMT as the 20-year-old was walking past a block of flats in Hatton Way, Corsham.

A man forced her into a car park behind the flats and assaulted her before running away when he was disturbed by passers by.

He is described as white, in his early 20s and 5ft 9ins (1.75m) tall.

He was wearing a thick black zip-up hoodie with the hood up, a grey scarf covering his face worn to just below his eyes, dark jeans and white trainers.

Pc Tim Stevens, of Wiltshire Police, said: "We know that he was disturbed by people who were in the area at the time.

"I am therefore keen to identify and speak to these people. I would also like to speak to anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area."
