Swindon Honda wind turbine decision deferred

A decision on whether to approve plans for three wind turbines at the Honda plant in Swindon has been deferred.

Borough councillors decided to delay the vote until March at a meeting on Tuesday night.

Last week, protesters presented a petition against the 120m (394ft) high structures to the authority.

They say the turbines are too large and will create too much noise. Honda says the turbines will help save money and meet emissions targets.
