Two held over Salisbury wheelchair man attack

Two teenagers have been arrested following an attack on a man in a wheelchair in Salisbury.

The 51-year-old was tipped from his chair, punched and kicked, before his wallet was stolen in the incident in Bishopdown on 1 May.

Wiltshire Police said two boys aged 15 and 17 had been arrested on suspicion of robbery and released on bail pending further inquiries.

The incident happened in Sycamore Drive between 0130 and 0230 BST.

Members of the public outraged by an attack have put up a £1,600 reward to catch those responsible.
