Reward over car lot arson attack in Trowbridge

The owners of a car lot business in Trowbridge are offering a reward after an arson attack there.

David and Eve Aylesbury of AMS Cars said the fire caused thousands of pounds worth of damage as five vehicles were torched with two destroyed.

They said their business had been targeted before but the damage was not as severe.

Mrs Aylesbury said she wanted those responsible for Saturday's fire to be caught.

"We are absolutely furious as we know we're going to be penalised by our insurance company.

"We're definitely going to reward whoever gives information which leads to an arrest," Mrs Aylesbury said.

She said her firm had not yet decided how much the reward would be.

Wiltshire Police are currently investigating the incident.
