E-fit shows Trowbridge assault suspect

Police have released an e-fit of a man wanted in connection with a sex attack on a woman in Wiltshire.

The 22-year-old victim was attacked as she walked across land at the top of Ashton Street, Trowbridge, on 22 May.

The woman was grabbed from behind by a man who subjected her to a serious sexual assault before running towards the Paxton Mead estate, police said.

The man in the e-fit is described as white, 5ft 10in (1.78m) tall, in his early 20s and of slim build.

The suspect was wearing baggy denim jeans and a dark, waist length jacket and may have had a shaved head.

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
