Police investigating indecent assaults on two teenage girls in Salisbury have released CCTV images of a man they want to identify.

Both incidents happened on Wednesday at about 1630 BST.

A 13-year-old girl was in a shop in the Maltings when she was assaulted by a man wearing a track suit or hooded top.

Police believe the same man inappropriately touched another girl, aged 15, in Brown Street a short time later.

Det Con Nick Ryan said: "These incidents were obviously distressing for the victims and we need the help of the public to find the man responsible as quickly as possible.

"I would like to hear from anyone who can identify the man pictured in the CCTV images in order that we can eliminate him from our inquiry.

"Callers can be assured that information will be dealt with in confidence."
