Trussell Trust charity in Salisbury burgled repeatedly

A charity in Wiltshire has been targeted by thieves four times in the past seven weeks.

In one incident, £1,500 was stolen from food bank charity the Trussell Trust, in Salisbury.

As well as cash, office equipment has been stolen. The most recent break-in occurred on Tuesday.

Regional shop co-ordinator Chrissy McAuley said the burglaries had "impacted" on the work the charity carried out.

She added: "We're now having to use some of the vital money that we work very hard to raise to put new security measures in to try and protect the stuff that we have."
