Designs for a 220-home development on a 22.5-acre site in Westbury, Wiltshire, have gone on public display.

Socially affordable homes make up 30% of housing on The Mead site north of the town beside the A350.

Planning consultant AMEC said it was essential to the project that local views were taken on board.

The landowner, Gloucester Land Company Ltd, is expected to submit its outline plans to Wiltshire Council next month.

The public display is taking place at The Laverton Hall, on Bratton Road in Westbury, from 11:00 until 20:00 BST and from 11:00 until 16:00 BST on Saturday.
