A 650ft (200m) safety cordon was set up around a barn in Wiltshire as firefighters dealt with a "significant" blaze.

Crews were sent to Vastern, near Royal Wootton Bassett, at about 13:00 GMT to the fire which spread to a workshop.

A cordon was set up around the scene due to a number of gas cylinders, including acetylene and liquid gas petroleum, stored inside the barn.

Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was now under control.

A spokesman said it was not known how it started, but it is thought to be accidental.

Crews continue to tackle the barn fire, but it is expected that the number of firefighters needed at the site will be scaled back shortly.
