Victim of North Yorkshire fatal crash named

A 61-year-old man who died in a road accident near Boroughbridge in North Yorkshire has been named by police.

The crash happened on the A168 near Marton-cum-Grafton early on Saturday, North Yorkshire Police said.

A Renault being driven by Vince Ivor Chadwick from Stanningley, Leeds, was in collision with a Citroen C4 carrying a couple from the Ripon area.

Mr Chadwick died at the scene and the injured couple were treated at Harrogate Hospital.
