Roadworks on A64 to start on 28 May: Highways Agency
A section of the A64 in North Yorkshire is to be resurfaced in a £110,000 scheme, according the Highways Agency.
Both carriageways between Staxton Main Street and the B1249, about five miles south of Scarborough, will be repaired.
The A64 will remain open but drivers will be led in convoy past roadworks at times. The work will involve some side road closures but with diversions in place.
Starting on 28 May, work will be done overnight until 8 June.
The A64 runs between Leeds and York and carries about 11,500 vehicles a day on the approaches to Scarborough.
