Homecoming parade for RAF personnel based at Leeming

RAF personnel back from duty in Afghanistan have taken part in a homecoming parade at their base in North Yorkshire.

Members of 34 squadron were presented with medals and service commendations during the parade at RAF Leeming in Northallerton.

Service personnel from the regiment are due to return to Afghanistan next year.

The regiment's role is to protect RAF bases from ground attack by securing airfields and landing zones.
