Paul Whitehead named as driver killed in Nidd crash

A man who died when his car left the road and hit a tree in North Yorkshire has been named by police

Paul Whitehead, 44, of Harrogate, died when his Mitsubishi left the B6165 at Nidd at 17:20 GMT on 28 November.

Officers want to speak to anyone who may have seen the Mitsubishi on the evening of the accident.

Mr Whitehead's family said he was a keen musician who had played bass with a number of local bands over the years.
