Brayton house fire victim named as Jo-Anne Campbell
A woman whose body was found after a fire at a house in North Yorkshire has been named by police.
The body of 45-year-old Jo-Anne Campbell was discovered when police officers and firefighters went to the property in Moat Way, Brayton, at about 01.00 BST on Monday.
Police are treating the mother of four's death as unexplained.
No-one else is believed to have been in the house at the time of the blaze.
Her partner Jonathan Longley paid tribute to Ms Campbell. He said: "Right now words cannot express the level of grief and complete and total loss we as a family feel.
"The loss of a mother, partner, friend is almost too much to bear. But the overwhelming level of kindness and consideration that has been shown has meant a great deal to all of us."
Officers have been carrying out house-to-house enquiries in the area and appealed for people with information about the blaze to come forward.
The force said it was "particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw anything in the vicinity of the address between 23:00 and 02:00 on the night of the fire".
